Barbara Invernizzi
DirectorBarbara is a qualified Chartered Accountant, a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and a qualified Dottore Commercialista member of the ODCEC in Italy. She also holds an Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (ADIT) from the Chartered Institute of Taxation in the UK.
Having started her career in a medium-sized tax and accounting firm in Milan, she has been part of a boutique accountancy and tax advisory practice in London since 2008, assisting both corporate and private clients.
In 2017, Barbara joined Statura where she manages a portfolio of private clients (mainly non-domiciled individuals and property investors resident in the UK) and assists them in all aspects of UK personal taxation and related international tax issues. Barbara also regularly advises multinational groups on complex accounting and tax matters.
Her mother tongue is Italian but she is also fluent in English.
Daniele Alvino
Group Finance Director – Senior ManagerDaniele is a competent all-rounder Chartered Accountant able to cover several areas of the accounting profession, although his area of preference and expertise is indirect taxation.
He manages a portfolio of corporate clients on a full range of accounting and tax matters (indirect taxation, payroll, Construction Industry Scheme, corporation tax).
Daniele has been in the UK for almost 20 years and prior to joining Statura he worked in the finance department of a top 50 UK company (FMCG industry) and for a top 30 UK audit, accounting and tax practice in London.
Daniele holds a degree in Political Science with a specialisation in International Economics and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) in the UK.
His mother tongue is Italian but he is also fluent in English.
Martina Bighellini
Senior AssociateMartina joined Statura in 2022 as a Senior Associate in the Accounting and Tax Department.
Prior to joining Statura, Martina worked for leading international accounting firms in Milan, providing a wide range of accounting, tax and business advisory services. In 2020 she co-authored the book "BREXIT: tax issues and opportunities for the Italian tax practitioners" published by Wolters Kluwer Italy.
At Statura she is regularly involved in a variety of professional activities for UK companies and multinational groups. She focuses on complex accounting and tax issues, tax due diligence and M&A transactions. Her main areas of expertise include corporate taxation, indirect taxation, consolidation of accounts, intra-group accounting and tax reporting.
Martina holds an MSc in Corporate Tax Law from the Università Cattolica of Milan and is currently studying to become a qualified Chartered Accountant.
Her mother tongue is Italian but she is also fluent in English.
Maria Tammaro
Senior AssociateMaria joined Statura in 2021 as an associate in the accounting and tax department.
Having started her career in an accountancy and tax boutique, she now focuses primarily on the preparation of company management accounts, payroll and construction industry scheme returns and indirect taxation.
With a Masters Degree in Management and Business Control, Maria is currently studying for her Chartered Accountant qualification with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Her mother tongue is Italian but she is also fluent in English.
Francesca Graziosi
AssociateFrancesca joined Statura in 2021 as an Associate in the Accounting and Tax Department.
She is regularly involved in a variety of professional activities for both corporate and private clients. She mainly focuses on accounting, corporate taxation and paralegal activities.
Prior to joining Statura, Francesca gained significant experience in the audit department of a BIG 4 firm and in the UK in-house accounting department of a large Japanese semiconductor company.
Francesca holds a double degree in Law and Business Administration from L.U.I.S.S. University (Rome). She is a European qualified lawyer and is currently studying to become a Chartered Accountant with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
Her mother tongue is Italian but she is also fluent in English and Spanish.
Monica De Maina
AssociateMonica joined our accountancy and tax team in 2020. She is an accountant with over fifteen years' experience focusing on payroll tax, indirect tax, Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) and bookkeeping.
Prior to joining Statura Group, Monica worked for a boutique accountancy and tax practice in London.
She was born and raised in South Africa and completed her accounting studies in the UK.
Her mother tongue is English but she is also fluent in Italian.
John Ioannou
Tax Compliance OfficerJohn is a Tax Compliance Officer with 20 years' experience in accountancy and tax practice.
He is responsible for liaising with HM Revenue and Customs and Companies House and regularly supports senior staff and clients with a full range of compliance and administration services. John has extensive operational experience supporting qualified chartered accountants in relation to personal taxation, corporate taxation, indirect taxation, accounts preparation and audit.
Prior to joining Statura, John worked for boutique accountancy and tax advisory practices in London.
John holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Finance.
His mother tongue is English but he is also fluent in Greek.
